Centro Cultural Recoleta

AMOR DE VERANO

In December 2018, I was commissioned to intervene the facade of the Centro Cultural Recoleta as part of the “Amor de Verano” campaign. The challenge was to transform a 15-meter-high historic building into a vibrant canvas reflecting the diversity and energy of love in its many forms. Alongside the Rojovivo team, we worked for 11 days to complete this mural, combining drawing, painting, and perforated vinyls on the building’s windows.

The illustration features a dynamic and colorful composition, with intertwined human figures symbolizing connection and amorous freedom. This intervention not only beautified the public space but also seamlessly integrated with the Recoleta’s cultural programming, which included outdoor artistic, musical, and theatrical activities aimed especially at youth and teenagers.

“Amor de Verano” became a visual icon of the season, inviting reflection on love, identity, and coexistence in diversity. This work is a clear example of how public art can transform the urban environment and generate a positive impact on the community.
