HOUSE ΩF YAIA was commissioned by Nike Innovation to redefine the visual language for the launch of the Nike Tech Boreas collection. Moving away from the sterile vector art typically used for technical apparel, the brief called for a “product design sketch” aesthetic that felt gritty, hand-drawn, and engineered for the elements.
We anchored the narrative in Boreas, the Greek god of the North Wind. The resulting visual system treats the garment as armor against the “unpredictable rhythm of urban life,” blending Renaissance-style anatomical studies with isometric technical schematics, wireframe pigeons and broken umbrellas, the work acts as a field guide for the “Professional New Yorker”.
